Job summary

Inframark in Jasper, GA is hiring a Water-Wastewater Treatment Operator to monitor and maintain water treatment facilities. You will operate pumps, inspect equipment, collect samples, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Georgia water license (or willingness to obtain one), a driver’s license, and experience in water or wastewater operations. CDL preferred for some locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Georgia Water Operator license or willingness to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred for some locations).
• Experience in water or wastewater operations required.
• Experience with SCADA systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor pumps, valves, motors, disinfection systems, and other treatment equipment to ensure safe, efficient facility operations.
• Inspect equipment, collect samples, perform routine testing, and support regulatory compliance.
• Record and maintain accurate operational data including flow rates and chemical usage.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to improve reliability.
• Respond promptly to operational issues and emergencies to restore service.
