Veolia is seeking an Operator II to maintain water and wastewater treatment processes, monitor operations, and ensure compliance with EPA regulations. The role involves collecting samples, recording data, and safely operating diverse treatment equipment in an on-site environment.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma, 2–5 years of related experience, and a technical or scientific associate’s degree preferred, with strong math and communication skills and a willingness to pass

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Associate's degree strongly preferred.
• Two to five years’ experience in water/wastewater treatment.
• Must communicate effectively in writing and orally.
• Must perform basic math equations.

Responsabilités

• Monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges.
• Collect and test water and sewage samples.
• Record meter and gauge readings and operational data.
• Operate equipment to purify and treat water or process waste.
• Clean and maintain equipment, tanks, filter beds, and work areas.
• Inspect equipment regularly to ensure proper function.
