The City of Silver Bay is accepting applications for a full-time Water and Wastewater Operator within the City Public Utilities Department. This position operates and maintains water and wastewater treatment plant facilities and related systems, and assists other departments as necessary.
Desired minimum qualifications include the ability to obtain a valid Class “D” certification for water and wastewater within 24 months and physical capability to perform strenuous work. The 2025 pay rate is $26.50 - $33.12/hour, depending on qualifications and experience, with full pay rate achievable within one year for those with a Class “D” License. Probationary wages will be extended until a Class “D” license is obtained, up to 24 months.
