Job summary

North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) is seeking a Maintenance Worker focused on the upkeep and repair of water and wastewater pipelines. This role also covers general grounds maintenance and support across NTMWD systems, reporting to the Maintenance Services Manager.

Responsibilities include repairing lines, following safety protocols, and responding to emergencies with rotating on-call duty. Requires a Texas driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED.

• Requires a valid Texas Driver's License.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow directions under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair water and wastewater pipelines.
• Perform general grounds and facilities upkeep.
• Provide labor support to NTMWD systems as needed.
• Follow safety practices including permits and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Respond to emergency situations as directed by supervision.
• Participate in annual basin and flume cleanings and on-call rotations.
