Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking an Inspector to provide daily inspection of construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications on standard projects. The role requires documenting all progress and maintaining daily reports for contractor labor, equipment, and materials.

On-site responsibilities include performing material tests and producing as-constructed sketches, while escalating discrepancies and changes as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 3 years of construction related experience.
• All required jurisdictional certificates and state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Observes, documents, and verifies work in progress by the construction contractor to ensure compliance with contract documents and plans.
• Maintains Inspector's daily log of assigned work activities, contractor labor and equipment, quantity of material received and verified.
• Performs on-site material testing and produces as-constructed sketches as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Maintains daily logs of inspection work which is assigned and reviews discrepancies or changes with Field Engineer.
