Job summary

Parkson Corporation is seeking a Field Service Specialist to service water and wastewater systems in the Atlanta area. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment at customer sites, conduct surveys, and perform on-site training while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong technical skills, 2+ years of field service experience, and the ability to travel up to 90% with relocation near a major airport. Excellent communication and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes, pumps, motors, SCADA systems, PLCs, and related equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to read mechanical and technical drawings.
• Ability to perform extensive manual labor.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 100+ pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work in multiple types of outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain water/wastewater treatment systems, pumps, valves, and related components.
• Diagnose and resolve operational issues with mechanical, electrical, and chemical treatment systems.
• Provide on-site technical support, site surveys, inspections, and maintenance for water/wastewater equipment; feedback for continuous improvement.
• Educate clients on proper equipment use, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate service records and detailed reports on equipment performance and issues.
• Be available for on-call emergency service support as required.
