Job summary

B&B Concrete is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Estimator to help pursue and plan water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will develop accurate, competitive estimates and partner with operations and project management from bid through handoff.

The role requires understanding water/wastewater construction, self-performed work, and evaluating scope, constructability, risk, and cost beyond mere takeoffs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience estimating water and/or wastewater construction projects.
• Experience with self-performed structural concrete and/or heavy civil construction.
• Strong reading of plans, specs, and contracts.
• Proficiency with takeoff software: HCSS, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, OST.

Responsibilities

• Develop estimates for water and wastewater facilities, pump stations, piping, and related infra.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and price self-performed labor, materials, and equipment.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals for scope coverage.
• Assess phasing, sequencing, logistics, and constructability.
