Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Montgomery, Alabama seeks a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will assist with planning, design through construction on water and wastewater projects, performing field investigations, CAD/GIS support, and data/document preparation.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with mentorship under licensed engineers. Enrollment in Civil/Construction/Environmental programs is required; EIT or progress toward it is preferred; US work

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a degree-seeking program in Civil, Construction, Environmental, or another closely related field.
• EIT or on track to obtain EIT certification.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist with water/wastewater conveyance and treatment projects from planning to construction.
• Support data entry, hydraulic evaluations, cost estimation, GIS and CAD design.
• Prepare documents, plans, and project management support under professional engineers.
