Job summary

Bowman has an opportunity for a Water/Wastewater Engineer I to join our Naples, FL team. You will evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques on moderately complex projects under supervision.

As part of a project team, you will assist with planning, design development, and preparation of plans, specs, and reports, contributing to water resource improvements in communities while gaining experience alongside senior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline required at time of employment.
• Academic or internship experience with water/wastewater systems strongly preferred; FE exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive general instruction on key objectives for execution. Work is completed using standard engineering techniques and design principles and is reviewed by more senior staff.
• Work closely with more senior staff members to learn about and assist with Planning work.
• Assist with the marketing of the firm’s capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships.
• Work side by side with the project team on water/wastewater projects to improve water resources of our communities.
• Assist with development of plans, specifications and reports.
• Contribute to designs based on field investigation and inspections.
• Complete detailed design work and review computations.
• Coordinate project design aspects and prepare plans, technical specifications, contract documents and estimates.
