Job summary

Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. is seeking a Water / Wastewater Intern for the Pensacola, Florida office for the summer of 2027.

The role provides an introduction to designing and developing water and wastewater infrastructure, including pump stations and treatment systems, with supervision and learning opportunities across departments. Responsibilities include supporting the Project Manager with scope, field inspections, and construction administration for ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be enrolled in a community college, college degree program, or other formal continuing education.
• Focus on water/wastewater or related discipline is strongly preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with all aspects of project scope to include flow analysis, capacity studies, hydraulic modeling, process design and utility design.
• Assist with field inspections.
• Be involved with the construction administration (RFI/Submittal) responsibilities of on-going projects.

Education

Enrolled in community college courses
