Job summary

Eastern Research Group, Inc. (ERG) is seeking talented, motivated engineers to join our expanding water and wastewater team. You will collaborate with US EPA and state agencies to address critical water quality, resource, and infrastructure challenges.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, 3–8 years of experience, strong writing and data analysis skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects in a dynamic environment. Willingness to travel is important.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemical, environmental, or civil engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience and strong writing/communication skills.
• Proficiency in using spreadsheets and other software to compile, analyze, and present data.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to small, underserved water utilities to access funding and design, build, and maintain sustainable water infrastructure.
• Assess and promote innovative treatment technologies and develop resources to reduce adoption barriers.
• Evaluate design, costs, and environmental impacts of projects and prepare preliminary engineering reports.
• Conduct sampling and advanced data analysis and develop concise data reports.
• Develop methods to control discharges of PFAS and other contaminants.
