Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• EIT or Engineer Intern registration or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• 0-2 years in water/wastewater collection, distribution, pumping systems, storage, treatment, and utility infrastructure design.
• Software experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit is a plus.
• Adaptable and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as a proactive approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in the planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater systems.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction cost estimates.
• Analyze existing water/wastewater systems to identify deficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Design water/wastewater and utility infrastructure, including CAD drafting.
• Provide technical support during construction, including shop drawing reviews, RFI responses, site visits, and field inspections.
• Assist in developing solutions that meet environmental, regulatory, and budgetary requirements.
• Prepare GIS exhibits and manage field data in Arc GIS software.

What You’ll Do
