Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, EPANET and MATLAB.

Responsibilities

Water/Wastewater Engineer

The Water/Wastewater Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and implementation of advanced water and wastewater treatment systems. This role involves applying engineering principles to develop efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions for water management challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

Develop detailed engineering designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including:

• Process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and layout plans.
• Utilize computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and hydraulic modeling software to optimize system performance.

Project Management:

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams in the execution of complex engineering projects from conception through commissioning.
• Prepare technical specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules.
• System Analysis and Optimization:
• Conduct process simulations using software such as HYSYS or Aspen Plus to evaluate treatment processes.
• Implement process control strategies to enhance system efficiency and reliability.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure all designs comply with relevant environmental regulations, such as the Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, and local permitting requirements.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for regulatory approval processes.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

• Provide technical guidance for the operation and maintenance of treatment facilities.
• Diagnose complex system issues using root cause analysis techniques and propose corrective actions.

Required Skills:
