Position Overview

We are seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer with 1–5 years of experience to join our team. This early-career opportunity is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented engineer who wants to grow their expertise in water and wastewater infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have exposure to civil or environmental engineering principles and a passion for applying them in real-world projects. While a Professional Engineer (PE) license is not required, an Engineer In Training (EIT) certification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and technical analysis of water and wastewater systems.
• Support the development of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and permit applications.
• Conduct research, fieldwork, and data analysis to inform project design and compliance.
• Participate in construction administration tasks, including site visits and inspections.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Engage in professional growth through on-the-job training and mentorship.
• Maintain organized project documentation and contribute to quality control processes.
• Contribute to internal meetings and client communications as appropriate.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Civil or Environmental.
• 1–5 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering or a related field.
• Engineer In Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Familiarity with water/wastewater system design, permitting, or regulatory standards is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
