Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects in El Paso, TX is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer with 4–10 years of experience to join our team. The role centers on municipal water and wastewater projects, including supply, treatment, storage, and distribution.

You will perform planning, design, and construction support, collaborate with project managers and staff, and contribute to reports, permitting, and client communications in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and civil engineering principles.
• 2nd item
• 4+ years of civil engineering experience in water/wastewater.
• PE license required.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD/SewerCAD, Plant3D, and Revit.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and permitting.

• Prepare calculations, technical reports, design memos, drawings, and cost estimates.

The position will focus primarily on water/wastewater related projects, including but not limited to supply, conveyance, treatment, and disposal. This position provides the opportunity to not only work with water/wastewater projects but collaborate with other sectors’ projects as well.Essential Job Functions:Perform planning, analysis, design, and construction support for municipal drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including water supply, treatment, storage, and distribution systems, wastewater collection, pump stations, lift stations, force mains, treatment, and related municipal systems.Work independently on assigned engineering project and tasks while collaborating effectively with Wilson & Company project managers, technical leads, junior engineers, designers, and support staff.Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, design memoranda, construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and permitting support documents.Support hydraulic modeling, utility capacity analysis, alternatives evaluation, and design development for water and wastewater systems.Assist with project management activities, including task coordination, schedule tracking, budget awareness, quality control, and deliverable reviewProvide engineering support during construction, including RFIs, submittal reviews, field condition evaluations, design clarifications, and change-related support.Communicate and collaborate with clients, funding agencies, regulators, and other engineers and architects in an effective and efficient manner to ensure successful project execution.Required Experience:BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering emphasisStrong understanding of civil engineering principles, water/wastewater design standards, construction practices, and applicable regulations4+ years of experience in civil engineering, Water/Wastewater discipline preferredPE License requiredExperience with plan production AutoCAD Civil 3DExperience with systems modeling in WaterCAD/SewerCADPlant3D and Revit experience a plusExperience with pump sizing and selection, open channel and pressured pipe system design, and other environmental calculations is a plusExperience with technical report writing and engineering reportsJob Location: El Paso, TexasAnnual Salary Range: $101,000 - $150,000 (Depending on Experience)Please note that Wilson & Company is not currently sponsoring applicants for work visas.About Us:For nearly a century, Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects, has provided award-winning engineering, architecture, planning, environmental, surveying, geospatial, and construction management services.
