Job summary

EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC seeks a senior water/wastewater engineer and project manager to join our collaborative consulting group delivering solutions for public works and private clients across all project phases.

You will plan, design, permit, and provide construction-stage services, while developing managerial and technical skills in water/wastewater treatment, conveyance, and compliance programs within a flexible, team‑oriented culture.

• B.S. or M.S. degree in civil or environmental engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of water/wastewater design, treatment, and/or permitting experience.

We are looking for a senior water/wastewater engineer and project manager to join our collaborative engineering consulting group that delivers solutions for our public works and private clients through all phases of a project lifecycle: planning, engineering evaluation and design, permitting, construction-phase services, and program and operations support.

What You Will Do

The candidate will consult with clients and other EA team members to:

• Develop plans for meeting program and project goals.
• Manage and perform engineering design tasks.
• Perform engineering calculations and evaluations.
• Prepare reports.
• Perform alternatives analyses.
• Develop engineering plans and specifications; and
• Provide guidance for projects under construction.

This position will be tailored to a specific candidate’s experience and personal interest and is best suited for an individual that is excited to develop experience across a range of managerial and technical skills.

What You Need

• Professional Engineer (P.E.), or Engineer-in-Training working towards a P.E.

• 10 or more years of water/wastewater design, treatment, and/or permitting experience.

Pay Range

$170,000 - $185,000 USD

The EA pay range for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation or salary. Factors considered when making an offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, alignment with market data, and compliance with federal and state laws.
