Job summary

Filanc, a long-standing general engineering and design-build contractor, seeks a Project Superintendent to lead water/wastewater construction sites across the Western U.S. You will manage safety, self-performed work, and all subs and suppliers, ensuring on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, preparing schedules and reports, maintaining materials and equipment, and interfacing with the owner and project team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with heavy civil construction projects, water/wastewater experience preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel to different project sites as needed.
• Strong knowledge of earthwork, concrete form systems, metals, carpentry, and mechanical work.
• Excellent communication and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-site safety for all workers, subcontractors, and suppliers per safety standards.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and self-performed work across trades.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules, task lists, and labor reports; maintain timecards and purchase receipts.
• Manage material organization and tracking, equipment care, and field logistics.
• Interface daily with owner and owner's representatives; advise on problems and schedule risks.
