Job summary

Trinity River Authority of Texas is seeking a Construction Services Project Manager to oversee design reviews, construction administration, and contract management for water and wastewater capital improvement projects.

You will manage 6–12 engineering consultant contracts, coordinate with inspectors, planners, GIS and operations, ensure quality standards per contract documents, and prepare communications for the Board and committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or construction engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in municipal, governmental or utility settings; construction experience preferred.
• Valid Texas Driver’s license and CCM exam eligibility.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Revu Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Review design plans and specs for quality control on CIP projects.
• Coordinate with internal departments and engineering consultants.
• Manage multiple consultant contracts (6–12) and construction administration duties.
• Prepare communications to the Board and committees.
• Oversee project budgets and schedules to ensure timely completion.
