Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee water and wastewater construction projects in the Norfolk area. The role involves managing complex municipal infrastructure from inception through completion.

You will coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and field teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure adherence to plans and standards across multiple sites. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Superintendent in heavy civil construction.
• Experience with water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, or utility infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage water and wastewater projects from award through closeout.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and procurement.
• Coordinate with Superintendents and field teams.
• Track project costs, change orders, RFIs, and overall project performance.
• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Interface with owners, engineers, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
