Job summary

Baxter & Woodman invites Civil Engineering interns to contribute to water, wastewater and stormwater projects in West Palm Beach, FL. You will support design and construction efforts, work directly with clients, and gain exposure to a range of facilities while developing your CAD, modeling, and analytical skills.

The role requires pursuing a 4-year Civil Engineering degree, a 3.0/4.0 GPA, and availability to start May or June 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year Civil Engineering degree.
• GPA minimum 3.0/4.0.

• Ability to travel within Baxter & Woodman service area.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with evaluation, study and design of water and wastewater pipelines and pumping stations.
• Collaborate with municipal and county clients on roadway, stormwater, underground utility, and infrastructure projects.
• Perform field work, studies, and design related to water and wastewater rehabilitation.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling analyses for water and wastewater systems.
• Work independently on CAD, Water, Wastewater, Stormwater, and Roadway design tasks and data collection.
