J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, is seeking a Civil Engineer, EIT or PE with a Water/Wastewater focus to join the team. This entry-level role offers mentorship from licensed engineers and a clear path from EIT to PE.

You'll assist with design of water and wastewater systems, collaborate with public agencies, and participate in site visits and public engagement to support growing communities with infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, water resources engineering, or related field (completed or expected before start date).
• At least one relevant engineering internship or co‑op experience.
• FE exam passed or scheduled prior to start date.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and technical writing skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Bluebeam preferred.
• Hydraulic modeling experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Help design water and wastewater systems that protect public health and support growing communities across the region.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and public agencies.
• Learn how projects move from concept to reality.
• Support communities by helping design critical infrastructure.
• Play key roles in all phases of project planning, design, and construction management.
• Attend public meetings, forums, and open houses to support senior project managers and engineers and answer questions from the public.
• Analyze engineering data, interpret plans and specifications, and make sound decisions to solve challenges.
• Utilize design tools such as Bluebeam, MS Office Products, WaterCAD, and InfoSWMM.
