Pape-Dawson Engineers in Florida is seeking a Civil Engineer (EIT) to support planning, design, and analysis of water distribution and wastewater projects under licenced PE guidance.

The role involves preparing calculations, documents, cost estimates, coordinating with project managers and clients, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring QA/QC throughout project delivery; office with periodic field work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional engineering experience.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• Working knowledge of engineering principles, design standards, and applicable codes/regulations.
• Ability to apply established engineering practices and exercise sound judgment.

Responsabilités

• Perform planning, design, and analysis tasks per codes and standards with minimal revisions.
• Prepare calculations and deliverables such as memoranda, reports, drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
• Evaluate design alternatives and recommend solutions to support project objectives.
• Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers.
