Job summary

Garver's Water Design Center is seeking an Automation Specialist in Oklahoma to develop PLC and SCADA HMI programs for water and wastewater projects. The role involves hands-on programming, commissioning, and direct client interaction with the Automation Team.

Responsibilities include PLC/HMI development, system commissioning, and collaboration with electrical, I&C, and process teams, with some travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical education in a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial controls and automation.
• Experience developing and supporting PLC and HMI applications using listed programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Developing PLC programming logic and SCADA HMI screens for water and wastewater automation.
• Coordinate project requirements with electrical, I&C, process, and mechanical teams.
• Assist in design of automation control systems including P&ID drawings and network architecture.
• Implement PLC and SCADA HMI applications during system commissioning at project sites.
• Provide field service and on-site support during construction and commissioning.
