Job summary

KCI Construction is seeking a Water/Waste‑Water Superintendent in Missouri. The role focuses on timely project completion, adherence to plans and specifications, and strong leadership of field crews.

You will manage quality control, safety programs, and coordination with Project Manager and subcontractors. The position requires at least five years in heavy civil supervision, ability to read construction drawings, and OSHA 30 Hour certification.

Purpose: The Water/Waste‑Water Superintendent is responsible for the timely completion of assigned project(s) and ensuring project is constructed in strict accordance with plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own execution of project milestones; partner with and communicate progress and challenges to Project Manager.
• Drive short term schedule (3-week look ahead) and tie back to
• Communicate with subcontractors & suppliers for aggregate, pipe, and drainage structure deliveries.
• Identify trucking needs and setup trucking as needed with trucking subcontractor
• Identify and drive critical path items, pertaining to overall schedule end
• Work with Field Operations Manager for manpower needs for critical path
• Partner with Project Manager to plan and communicate project phasing and

Production/Quality Control

• Drive overall quality control from start to close
• Partner with estimator/preconstruction from start through project completion to understand how the project was estimated to maximise production.
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; look for ways to improve and promote quality; monitor own work to ensure quality.
• Meets and works to beat productivity standards; completes work in a timely
• Direct labor, equipment, and subcontractors through project
• Coordinate and direct work in the field to ensure work is performed in accordance with plans and specifications.
