Job summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking a Project Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to support our Water group in our Reading, MA or Foxborough, MA offices. The role focuses on designing water utility projects, evaluating treatment and distribution systems, and providing construction administration for water supply facilities.

The ideal candidate has a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree, hands-on design experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and REVIT, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering required or strongly preferred.
• PE licensure preferred or ability to become licensed.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS and REVIT is desirable.
• Strong writing and verbal communications skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare water utility designs including plans and specifications for permitting and construction for water treatment facilities, pump stations, storage, and water mains.
• Evaluate drinking water treatment and distribution systems; design and analyze pilot studies.
• Lead full-scale designs and construction administration for water supply and treatment.
• Manage multiple projects and clients, including budgets and technical coordination.
• Delegate tasks to entry-level staff and collaborate with a diverse team.
