Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Water Utility GIS Data Analyst to join the National Planning and Water Resilience Team in Hanover, MD. You will support engineers, scientists, and project managers with GIS data analyses for water infrastructure projects and client reports.

Responsibilities include leading small data teams, developing SOPs, ensuring data quality, and coordinating training, data collection, and client-ready outputs. A strong data background and SQL proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, STEM preferred.
• 9 years of experience, including 2 in a consulting role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in training activities to educate junior data analysts and develop SOPs.
• Interview stakeholders to understand data-driven decision goals.
• Interpret KPI data and guide how data feeds into metrics.
• Ensure collected data is accurate, standardized, and usable for downstream products.
• Review client-facing data products and flag issues or bugs.
• Maintain calendars and project boards (MS Planner) to track tasks.
• Troubleshoot data issues and perform root-cause analysis.
