Job summary

Washington Water Service, part of the Cal Water group, seeks a Utility Worker to perform field operations and maintenance in Puyallup, WA. You will operate service trucks, maintain meters and hydrants, document work orders, and respond to customer requests while supporting overall water system reliability.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, prior utility/maintenance experience, and a valid Washington driver’s license with insurability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as an Operation Maintenance Worker or Utility Worker-Construction.
• Valid Washington driver's license and insurability under the company plan.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain field service tasks, ensure safe completion of daily work.
• Prepare and submit reports and daily service logs.
• Drive a company vehicle to job sites and ensure safety of personnel and the public.
• Attend required meetings and trainings for certification maintenance.
• Perform meter, valve, hydrant maintenance and locate leaks as needed.
• Collect water samples for testing and regulatory reporting.
• Document work orders and tasks in the system.
• Respond to customer service requests promptly and professionally.
• Perform duties on site and support operations as needed.
