Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED* required.
• One (1) year of related experience.
• Fingerprinting Required.
• General Educational Development (GEDs) must be issued by the American Council on Education through an approved GED Administrator. For Florida, the approved GED Administrator would be the Florida Department of Education (public schools or adult education centers).

Responsibilities

• Performs water utilities maintenance: locate connections, install/repair valves, and inspect pumps.
• Responds to after-hours calls; evaluates water loss and plans crew, parts, and equipment.
• Operates and maintains a wide range of equipment and tools used on projects.
• Performs general cleaning and preventative maintenance on equipment and sites.
• Transports equipment and crew to and from job sites.
• Monitors inventory and requests replacements to keep supplies stocked.
