Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED with college coursework in chemistry, biology or math (degree preferred).
• Minimum of two years in a supervisory position.
• Valid Driver's license plus TCEQ Class B Water and Class B Wastewater licenses.
• Broad understanding of water/wastewater plant operations, safety, hydraulics/mechanics and standard software.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations for Water Production and Wastewater Treatment.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal rules and regulations.
• Manage sewage lift stations operation and maintenance.
• Prepare monthly and annual regulatory operational reports.
• Assist with departmental budgeting, staff training and facility projects.
