Job summary

Luck Companies' Fairfield Plant is seeking a Water Truck Operator to help dissipate dust on quarry roads and assist with plant maintenance. You will operate water trucks during the 6:15am to 4:30pm shift, perform pre- and post-shift inspections, and work safely around heavy equipment.

Qualifications include prior heavy equipment experience or work in a quarry or large construction environment. Benefits start on day one, including paid time off and a matching 401(k).

Qualifications

• Experience with hands on maintenance a plus.
• Must have a team oriented, positive outlook toward work and accomplishing goals.

Responsibilities

• Pre-shift and post shift inspection of vehicle.
• Identifying and reporting rode and equipment issues.
• Operating heavy equipment utilizing proper loading and dumping techniques.
• Ensures vehicle receives proper maintenance.
• Assist with plant maintenance when not operating the truck or other projects.
• May also be trained to operate other equipment if needed.
• Prioritizes safety throughout site for self and others.
• Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift.

• Pay or shift range: $21.77 USD to $32.65 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Luck Stone's Fairfield Plant is looking to hire a Water Truck Operator. Water truck Operators skillfully navigate quarry roads and around the plant to dissipate dust levels. Individual will also assist on the ground with plant maintenance as needed.

Hours: 6:15am-4:30pm
