Job summary

Luck Stone Corporation's Fairfield Plant is hiring a Water Truck Operator to help control dust and support plant maintenance. You will navigate quarry roads, operate the water truck, and follow safety protocols to protect workers and equipment.

Hours: 6:15am-4:30pm. Duties include vehicle pre/post inspections, reporting issues, basic maintenance, and assisting with other equipment as needed. A team‑oriented, proactive attitude and reliability are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Prior quarry or large construction experience preferred.
• Hands-on maintenance experience a plus.
• Must have a team oriented, positive outlook toward work and goals.

Responsibilities

• Pre-shift and post-shift inspections of the vehicle.
• Identify and report road and equipment issues.
• Operate heavy equipment with proper loading and dumping techniques.
• Ensure vehicle receives proper maintenance.
• Assist with plant maintenance when not operating the truck or other projects.
• May be trained to operate other equipment as needed.
• Prioritize site safety for self and others.
• Help keep the site clean and organized at shift end.

• Pay or shift range: $21.77 USD to $32.65 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Luck Stone's Fairfield Plant is looking to hire a Water Truck Operator. Water truck Operators skillfully navigate quarry roads and around the plant to dissipate dust levels. Individual will also assist on the ground with plant maintenance as needed.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Identifying and reporting rode and equipment issues
• Operating heavy equipment utilizing proper loading and dumping techniques
• Ensures vehicle receives proper maintenance
• Assist with plant maintenance when not operating the truck or other projects
• May also be trained to operate other equipment if needed
• Prioritizes safety throughout site for self and others
• Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a quarry or large construction environment, or heavy equipment experience is preferred
• Experience with hands on maintenance a plus
• Must have a team oriented, positive outlook toward work and accomplishing goals.
