Mission

Reeves Construction Company is currently seeking experienced Water Truck Drivers/Operators based in Savannah, GA. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety and possess a valid Class B CDL with Tanker endorsement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operate tanker trucks safely, including loading and offloading products.
2. Perform pre-trip inspections of tires, lights, brakes, and fluid levels.
3. Manage paperwork related to Department of Transportation regulations, including freight bills and load tickets.
4. Follow detailed instructions and use judgment to work independently at job sites.
5. Assist with additional tasks as needed.
6. Drive safely in traffic and adhere to company policies.
7. Follow all safety policies and procedures during operations.

Qualifications and Certifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three months of related experience or training.
• Valid Class B CDL with Tanker endorsement and a clean MVR.
• Ability to drive trucks with manual transmissions.
• Meet all DOT requirements, including physical exams.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical Demands:

• Climb onto and off equipment multiple times daily.
• Sit for extended periods while operating machinery.
• Endure vibration and noise at job sites.
• Perform repetitive motions with arms, hands, and feet.
• Lift and move up to 60 pounds regularly.
• Maintain 20/40 vision, with or without correction.

Work Environment:

Employees are exposed to moving mechanical parts, weather conditions, vibration, fumes, and airborne particles. Occasionally, there are exposure to wet/humid conditions, high places, chemicals, and loud noise levels.
