• 1-2 years of CDL driving experience with a GVW of 33,000 pounds or greater.
• Must have Tanker endorsement and valid Class B Commercial Driver's License.

Water Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks equipped with water/tack and maintain proper levels on all assigned equipment. Conduct all work in accordance with company policies, procedures, and programs.
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections on assigned vehicle to ensure safety and identify any damages or tampering. Report issues immediately to the shop.
• Drive tanker/tack trucks to predetermined destinations, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and local roads.
• Collaborate with paving crews.
• Maintain a truck log in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policy.
• Report traffic or site condition problems promptly and gather information about the job site and route conditions.
• Ensure truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repairs follow guidelines outlined in the Truck Driver's Handbook.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or related work experience.
• 1-2 years of CDL driving experience with a GVW of 33,000 pounds or greater.
• Must have Tanker endorsement.
• Compliance with all DOT physical requirements.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License required.
• Hazmat experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Skilled in loading and unloading fuel and oil from trucks at terminals.
• Valid driver's license required.

Starting at $26/hr; salary commensurate with experience and skill level.
