Job summary

Piscataqua Landscaping & Tree Service is seeking a Water Truck and Crew Driver in Eliot, ME for a seasonal role from June to October. You will operate a water truck, water and fertilize plants, and help transport crew members to job sites.

No landscaping experience required; training is provided. You must be able to lift 30 lbs, hold a valid driver’s license, and obtain a DOT card if needed. This is a great way to gain flexible hours and part-time year-round opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active and valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs and climb onto truck.
• Able to obtain DOT Card and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Watering and fertilizing plants thoroughly
• Detailing annuals, cutbacks as needed for shape, and deadheading to promote bloom
• Cleaning up planting areas as needed
• Recognizing issues with plant material, communicating to team, and monitoring plant health
• Removing dead plants, trash and debris from containers and beds
• Transporting crew members to job sites

Description

The Water Truck and Crew Driver is responsible for operating a company water truck and providing plant care services at residential and commercial properties. Duties include watering and fertilizing plants, performing basic gardening and landscape maintenance tasks, and assisting with the transportation of crew members to and from job sites.

This is a seasonal position, and work hours may vary based on business needs and workload demands. This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver looking for additional or part-time hours from June to October.

Landscaping knowledge not required - we will train you!

• Watering and fertilizing plants thoroughly
• Detailing annuals, cutbacks as needed for shape, and deadheading to promote bloom

Requirements
