Ground Water Treatment & Technology, LLC is seeking a Technician II in Millbury, MA to install and service water treatment and remediation systems. The role requires mechanical aptitude, banded to safety procedures, and readiness for overtime and travel to remote sites.

The ideal candidate has three years in environmental/construction work and must obtain wastewater operator certification within 12 months. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required; pre-employment background

Qualifications

Three years of experience in environmental/construction field preferred.
Certification as wastewater treatment plant operator required within one year of employment.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Overtime and travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain process equipment and systems for water treatment and remediation.
Follow safety procedures and communicate clearly with team and clients.
Perform pipefitting (PVC, HDPE, metallic) and install instrumentation.
Operate hand/power tools and test equipment; light welding and coatings.
Lift up to 75 pounds as needed and operate forklifts or lifts when required.
