Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Water Treatment Technician for Starlink in Texas. You will own UPW and wastewater processes at two ZLD facilities supporting PCB and packaging operations.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years hands-on technical experience or an associate’s degree in STEM.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor UPW systems (RO, EDI, UV, filtration).
• Manage wastewater treatment processes (pH neutralization, evaporators, AOP, crystallizers).
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot pumps, valves, sensors, and controls.
• Conduct daily water quality sampling and data logging (TOC, silica, metals, conductivity).
• Respond to alarms and implement corrective actions to maximize uptime.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, EHS, and engineering to reduce waste and improve sustainability.
• Ensure OSHA/EPA/SpaceX safety protocols and LOTO compliance.
• Create operating procedures with engineers and technicians.
• Maintain hardware inventory and procure critical spares.
