DC Army National Guard is inviting applicants to become Water Treatment Specialists. You will ensure sanitary conditions for Soldiers by operating and maintaining water treatment equipment, conducting water quality tests, and inspecting facilities and supplies for hazards.

You will train extensively, earn a regular paycheck, and may qualify for tuition assistance and other education benefits. This role also supports civilian career pathways in inspection and public health fields.

Qualifications

• Interest in science, including biology and chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Perform site reconnaissance and prepare water treatment activity.
• Set up equipment and facilities for treatment operations.
• Operate and maintain water treatment equipment and systems.
