Chem-Aqua, A Solenis Company, is hiring a Water Treatment Service Technician to support customer facilities with expert treatment programs, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance. You will perform on-site testing, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to protect equipment and optimize efficiency.

The role requires flexibility, travel within the territory, and a strong customer-service mindset. Training is provided, and a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of field experience applying mechanical principles.

• Experience in water treatment industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics on water treatment equipment including reverse osmosis systems, water softeners, and related conditioning systems.
• Conduct on-site testing and analysis of water quality as part of routine service.
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance, inspections, cleaning and calibration of system components.
• Identify malfunctions, recommend corrective actions, and report service calls accurately.
• Schedule service and sales calls and maintain timely daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Maintain customer chemical inventory and assist with safe handling and lifting of materials.

The water’s great.## What You’ll DoAs a Water Treatment Service Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert helping customers protect their equipment, save energy, and stay in compliance. This account service position will provide tower cleaning, coil cleaning, chemical cleaning and some pre-treatment. This is a remote position, but required to live in the posted area.* Perform diagnostics on water treatment equipment: reverse osmosis Systems, water softeners, and other water treatment/conditioning systems.* Spot opportunities to improve water systems—stopping corrosion, preventing scale, boosting efficiency, and avoiding downtime.* Perform on-site water testing & analysis (don’t worry, we train you).* Determine condition of system fluids, identify malfunctions and take corrective actions.* Provide routine preventative maintenance services; inspection, cleaning, and calibration of system components as necessary to assigned accounts* Accurately report service calls.* Schedule service and sales calls, including daily, weekly and monthly reporting.* Maintain customer chemical inventory which may include lifting 5 gallon pails that weigh approximately 55-75 lbs.## What We’re Looking For* Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to build relationships* 3-5 years of work experience in a field using mechanical principles* Experience in the water treatment or related industry a plus* Ability to work flexible schedule, some weekends required* Very organized with exceptional follow-through abilities Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent work experience).* Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help customers solve real problems.* Comfortable traveling within your territory.* Valid driver’s license.## Why You’ll Love This Role* Make a real impact by helping customers operate efficiently and sustainably.* Comprehensive and ongoing training—we provide **technical training** (on water treatment basics, testing, products, and solutions) delivered through a combination of virtual sessions, in-field/on-the-job coaching, and classroom-style sessions.
