Job summary

gpac seeks an Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer to support water and wastewater treatment clients with SCADA systems development, programming, and field implementation. The role emphasizes hands-on programming, configuration of OIT, HMI, and SCADA graphics, and field deployment of control systems.

The position requires experience with PLCs, HMI development, and MS SQL, plus strong communication skills and the ability to work on-site when needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in related tech field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with PLCs, HMI development, and MS SQL.
• Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, and Access.
• Basic knowledge of networking and familiarity with AutoCAD.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and on-site when needed.

Responsibilities

• Program SCADA and PLC systems.
• Configure OIT, HMI, and SCADA graphic applications.
• Implement communication via serial, fiber, radio, and cellular.
• Develop historical databases and reporting packages.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical.
