Job summary

WolfTrek is seeking a Commissioning Process Engineer (P.Eng) for a 6-month contract for two water treatment facilities in Elkford, BC. You will lead the commissioning activities and coordinate with operations and automation teams to ensure startup success.

The role requires a P.Eng designation or significant applicable experience, 4+ years in water treatment, and strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• P.Eng. designation in chemical, mechanical, environmental, or civil preferred.
• Experience in water/wastewater treatment, pilot projects, or similar industries.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience.
• Facility commissioning/operation experience is a strong asset.
• Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in health and safety programs and policies.
• Collaborate with the commissioning team to execute the facility commissioning plan on schedule.
• Analyze process data and make recommendations to advance the commissioning plan based on results.
• Work with operations, maintenance and automation teams to troubleshoot process units.
• Document all changes through the Management of Change process.
• Coach less-experienced team members such as technicians and co-ops.
• Work 8 days ON, 6 days OFF schedule with camp living accommodations.
