Job summary

H2O Innovation is seeking a Junior Commissioning Specialist to join our water treatment team in Ramsey, MN. You will lead onsite commissioning and startup of water treatment systems, collaborating with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project completion.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, hands-on testing, FAT/SAT participation, and the ability to travel up to 80% across the USA and Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering or a Technical Certificate in Instrumentation, Controls or Programming and/or Water Treatment Operations.
• Technical or Vocational Degree in Industrial Mechanics also acceptable.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be available to travel unrestricted in USA & Canada (80% travel).

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with liquid treatment process technologies (RO, UF, NF, MBR, filtration, dosing, UV, screens).
• Lead FAT and SAT tests and coordinate startup at customer sites.
• Review equipment installations and verify readiness for startup.
• Provide technical summaries and operating procedures for internal and client review.
• Ensure compliance with safety, standards and regulations throughout commissioning.
