Job summary

The City of Williamsburg Water Treatment Plant is seeking applicants for the positions of Utility Operator I, II, III, IV, and Trainee. Each position is responsible for performing skilled and semi-skilled work in the operation of a Class I water treatment plant and water pumping and storage facilities according to established practices and procedures.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a Virginia driver's license, and related experience; license requirements depend on

• Plant Operator's license may be required depending on the position.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled work in operating a Class I water treatment plant and water pumping and storage facilities according to established practices and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with established procedures and safely operate related equipment as part of daily duties.
