Job summary

Aquatech is seeking an Entry- or Mid-Level Pilot Operator to lead deployment, assembly, operation, and maintenance of advanced water filtration pilot systems in the field. When not deployed, you will support equipment preparation and planning at the Albany, Oregon office.

You will oversee 24/7 commissioning, mentor field teams, and deliver on-site training while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality workmanship across customer sites worldwide.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade school certification preferred in fields like Field Technician, Agricultural Technician, Industrial Mechanic or Millwright.
• Experience operating forklifts and scissor lifts is required.
• Knowledge of water or wastewater treatment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• System assembly, transport, and rigging of pilot trailers/skids.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced water treatment pilot systems.
• Lead site teams during 24/7 startup and commissioning phases.
• Provide on-site training to customer operators and staff.
• Maintain safety and OSHA compliance on active sites.
