Job summary

Aquatech is hiring an Entry or Mid-Level Pilot Operator to train and lead deployment, assembly, operation, and maintenance of advanced water filtration pilot systems in the field. You will also support equipment preparation and planning from the Albany, Oregon office.

In this senior role, you will oversee 24/7 commissioning, oversee field teams, and serve as the primary technical trainer for customer staff, with global project exposure.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial fluid-handling equipment or mobile pilot operations.
• Exposure to water/wastewater treatment or related field preferred.
• Travel up to 75% with extended site assignments (4–6 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical assembly and pipe fitting for pilot equipment.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced water treatment pilot systems.
• Direct field operator teams during start-up and commissioning phases.
• Provide on-site training to customer staff on system operation.
