Job summary

American Products is seeking a Wastewater Operator to join our treatment team. You will help operate and monitor wastewater systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and safe handling of chemicals. Shift is Tue-Fri from 5:30am to 3:30pm.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, collecting samples, recording data, and performing basic maintenance with PPE and safety procedures. High school diploma or GED preferred; Hazwoper certification required within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 40-hour Hazwoper preferred.
• 24-hour Hazwoper required within the first 60 days.

What You'll Do

Education

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand/walk for long periods, climb stairs, reach overhead, crouch, and kneel.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Use of required PPE: safety glasses, safety footwear, chemical protective equipment.
