Job summary

Environmental Chemical Corp. (ECC) is seeking an Operations Specialist to support field technical services and operate groundwater treatment plant facilities in accordance with company standards, regulatory criteria, and contractual obligations.

The ideal candidate will have a groundwater or wastewater operator’s license or the ability to obtain a license within 1 year of hire. You will perform field sampling, manage documentation, and assist with invoicing and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

Four years of progressively responsible experience supporting environmental or construction projects.
Two years of progressively responsible experience as an environmental technician and/or plant operator performing field sampling and monitoring.

Responsibilities

Review project specifications, standards and regulations for compliance.
Identify, solicit and evaluate vendors and develop purchase orders.
Generate or validate calculations related to production rates and loading requirements.
Monitor treatment plant process controls and calibrate instrumentation.
Troubleshoot SCADA systems and related controls.
