Job summary

Culligan 6TX is seeking a Service & Installation Technician in Midland, TX. The role involves operating commercial, residential and light industrial water treatment systems, installing water softeners and filtration systems, and performing preventive maintenance.

The position is Full-time, with on-call shifts, and includes company equipment and on-site responsibilities. Training and advancement opportunities are offered within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or five to ten years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license; water licensing and plumbing licenses preferred
• Basic plumbing and electrical experience
• Experience in Plumbing, Water Treatment, Industrial Operations, or Mechanical Field Service
• Mechanically inclined

Responsibilities

• Provides general onsite and offsite equipment installation, service, start-up, commissioning, testing, and training for water treatment equipment across industries.
• Ensures field service goals and timely equipment start-ups and manages onsite time and costs.
• Supports Service Manager with shop-floor refurbishments, builds, rentals, and testing of equipment.
• Identifies problems by observing systems and using precision instruments.
• Removes defective parts and tests replacement equipment for proper operation.
• Maintains truck stock and prepares inventory levels for parts and equipment.
• Educates customers on maintenance and product information; maintains safety standards.
• Keeps technical knowledge current via workshops and publications.
