Job summary

The role requires basic lab knowledge and the ability to follow procedures precisely. Candidate should have a high school diploma and 1–2 years in water or sewer operations, plus NC Grade C water treatment certification within 2 years.

Qualifications

• HD high school diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years water/sewer system operation experience.
• Possession of NC Grade C water treatment certification within 2 years of employment.
• Knowledge of safety, calibration, and basic lab principles in water treatment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform minor maintenance of water/wastewater systems and related facilities.
• Collect samples, conduct tests, and log readings for reporting.
• Monitor meters, gauges, and controls; adjust as needed for proper operation.
• Prepare records and reports; maintain equipment and housekeeping.
• Work rotating shifts as required.
