Job summary

Select Water Solutions, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Pump Mechanic to diagnose, repair and rebuild pumps, perform inspections and preventative maintenance, and keep accurate records.

You will work with a safety‑minded team, handle 4”x4” and 6”x6” centrifugal pumps, and coordinate major repairs and required documentation.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, HS diploma or GED, basic welding, ability to travel for off‑site repairs, and the ability to pass pre‑employment and DOT screenings.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a company vehicle.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, diesel, hydraulic and pump systems.
• Experience working on tractor trailers is a plus.
• Basic welding skills.
• Understand safety procedures and precautions.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Knowledge of oil & gas industry preferred.
• Ability to travel to off-site locations for repairs.
• Able to use battery and charging system test equipment.
• Must pass pre-employment and DOT screenings and background check.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance on 4x4, 6x3, and 6x6 centrifugal pumps including mechanical seals.
• Inspect pumps and perform preventative maintenance.
• Schedule and oversee major repairs.
• Complete required documentation.
• Communicate status of repairs and maintenance to management.
