Job summary

Restore Now LLC in Central Florida seeks a Restoration Technician to join our 24/7 response team. You will handle water and fire damage restoration, mold remediation, and cleaning, documenting losses and coordinating with clients and insurers.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in restoration, IICRC certification, experience with dash and MICA, and proficiency with hand and power tools. Applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs and work from our Apopka headquarters.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform water damage restoration including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.

• Clean carpets and upholstery as part of restoration.
• Keep van and work area organized and clean.

Overview

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in the restoration industry and have a consistent commitment to delivering high-quality service. You will be responsible for speaking with customers, documenting each loss, providing water mitigation, demolition, and cleaning while ensuring safety and compliance with our company, OSHA and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform water damage restoration tasks, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification of affected areas.
• Conduct fire restoration activities such as smoke removal and structural cleaning.
• Execute mold remediation processes to ensure safe and effective removal of mold from properties.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to assist in the restoration process.
• Clean carpets and upholstery as part of the restoration efforts.
• Maintain a clean and organized company van.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the restoration process.
• Collaborate with team members to assess damage and develop effective restoration plans.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with clients regarding the restoration process and provide updates on progress.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in the restoration industry.
• Previous experience using DASH and MICA applications.
• IICRC certified.
• Familiarity with duct cleaning, mold remediation techniques and fire restoration practices.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Must be fluent in English. Bilingual is a plus!
• A commitment to safety protocols and procedures during all restoration activities.
• Ability to pick up and carry a minimum of 50lbs.
• Reliable daily transportation to and from our Headquarters in Apopka.
